Brady and Jessica

Babies and Kids... Fall Update
I do still have a few openings the week of Oct. 17th through Oct. 24th which is when I am doing fall portraits, so if interested please email me ASAP as these spots are filling up quickly. I will also be photographing the Spartan cheerleaders in the next couple of weeks and I am very excited about that. It should be a lot of fun!!! Kirk Wedding
I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph a very beautiful casual wedding at Valley Falls this past weekend. I would like to thank all of you who were there for cooporation and for making my job fun and easy. Thanks to Stephanie and Joe for being so easy to work with and also to Tre for being such a "cheeser" for me ;)

I am currently running a special. It includes a free engagement session with a signed contract and deposit to hold your wedding date. I also have distributed discount referral cards to my previous clients that will give you 10% off of session fees and prints for you/your family and the family that refers you. This offer is good for all services scheduled before 8/15/09. These two specials can be combined for a great overall discount.
I'll be busy, busy, busy over the next few weeks. I'm going to D.C. this weekend and plan to get some great shots of the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial, etc. I have a few weddings coming up so check my galleries frequently to catch those pictures.

The photoshoot at the VA park was amazing. We all had a lot of fun, the weather held off, everyone was EXTREMELY cooporative and the end result was an incredible number or amazing shots! I am very, very pleased with the way everything turned out, and I want to thank you all so much for your help!!! The kids and babies were all such little angels to work with and I think I had the most fun of all with them! ;) Here are a few samples from the shoot. More will be available soon. I hope you all enjoy them, and feel free to leave comments and feed back at the end of this blog.

Hello everyone! I would like to organize a day at the VA park on Saturday, May 16th to photograph some of you and/or your children. I would like to do two sessions (morning and evening). I would like to do the first one from about 8-11in the morning and the evening one from 5-8. Please email me with the time frame you would be interested in (example: 8-9am... 6-7pm....) and I will contact you with a specific appointment. Please let me know how many people are in your party and their ages so that I can set aside efficient time for your group.
If possible, dress in clothing that is solid colors and will be complimented by the outdoor color scheme. Try to avoid excessive accessories and loud patterns.
This day is open to anyone, so if you know of others interested, just let me know and I will try to squeeze them in. This is a great opportunity for couples, families, parents of children, bands, prom attendees (if there are proms on this day), or any other situation that could benefit from a brief outdoor photo shoot.
You will all need to fill out and sign a contract/release form that basically allows me to use the images afterwards. If you send me your email address, I can email it to you as an attachment and you can have it filled out and ready to go on the day of the shoot.

-number of participants
-age of participants
-time frame you would like to be scheduled in
-your email
-your phone
-your mailing address (for you to receive your CD afterwards)

Ok... so I FINALLY got my new camera, and I am super excited about it. It was Christmas (8 mos. early or 4 mos. late) at my house yesterday. I took a few pics of my friends daughter Halli on my hardwood floors, and they came out really good. Here is a sample:
I am gonna mess around with it for a few more days, and hopefully the trees will green up soon so that I can start doing the sittings I have promised you. As soon as the weather clears up, I am going to start seeing people, so sit tight. It should only be a couple more weeks!

I am back from Cuba and hard at work. I'll have some new pics under scenic and macro soon from that trip. There are two new albums on my page under the "Mandy and Chris" link and "Kaden" link. Mandy and Chris were my first "test subjects", and it was a pleasure doing their engagement pics. Kaden is my son and is an example of some of the types of kiddy pics I like to take. I try to take a really natural and fun approach to taking pics of both kids and couples. I hope you enjoy them! Feel free to comment on this blog or by using the "contact us" tab on the main page.

First and foremost, I would like to thank all of you who have replied to my event invitation on Facebook. I have had an absolutely outstanding response, and am very excited to work with all of you. If you have not emailed or messaged me yet.... IT'S NOT TOO LATE!!! I can still take a few more people, so hurry! For those of you wanting me to take pics of your kiddies, I was thinking I might set up a day in May at the Shinnston Park or somewhere else local and have everyone come at 20 or 25 minute intervals, that way I can do all of those in one day. I'll let you know the day as soon as I am able to plan for it.
I'm gonna try to set up appointments with the rest of you sometime after I get back from Cuba in a few weeks... I'll keep you all posted and will be emailing you to set up dates.
As far as updates to my website go, I have new pics up of Kira's baby Addison.... The lighting is a little off and the pics came out a little grainy, but they're pretty cute so I put them up anyway. Pleas let me know if there is anything that you think I could do to improve my site. I am always interested in suggestions.
